Tea Party and Things Recognition for own Debe Davis
Sunday May 23, our own Debe Davis was presented with a community service award at
the Annual Mother / Daughter Charity Tea hosted by the charitable foundation Tea Party and Things. She was recognized for helping women feel healthier about who
they are mentally, physically and spiritually. For over a decade
every week at the Pine Grove School, 30+ women
gather together for her free low impact exercise class. As they
move to funky classics and gospel club tracks; the women
are encouraged to keep going by the many call and response chants Debe
and her best friend Karen Cox shout out. From "I love it, I love it,
I love to exercise it's for, it's for, it's for my hip and thighs and my
belly, and my spirit too WOO"
Debe was humble to have accepted the community service
award in memory of her son Jaethan Myers, who would have given anything
to be healthy. Let's not take for granted God's blessing to us...the
gift of life..
